Charity and her staff realize that not every patient needs new dentures. Sometimes you just need a reline or denture repairs. The great news is that we can provide same-day service on denture relines, rebase or repairs.
What is Relining?
When the underlying bone and tissue recede, which can happen with tooth loss, disease and length of time wearing dentures, Charity will make an impression of your mouth and add to the pink acrylic base as necessary for better fit.
A denture refit occurs for the same reason as relining – your mouth tissues have shrunk, meaning that your dentures are loose and uncomfortable. Instead of just adding to the “gum” area of your dentures, though; we’ll actually fashion a new acrylic base for greater comfort and fit.
Every now and then, you’ll damage your denture by dropping it on a hard surface or by other means (for example, your dog has chewed your denture seemingly to pieces). Under those circumstances, Charity will restore your denture to as close to its original condition as possible. Best of all, we can handle your denture repairs while you wait.
